    Travel Blog, Utica NY

Utica is a small town, worn down by the long slow decline that hit many of the smaller North Eastern towns, long before the current crisis. Of course the current one does not help either. For those who love all things victorian, and arts, this town is a wonderful place to be.

I apologized in advance for the blurry of the photos, I had the shakes for some reason and could not get a steady photo. This gives you a vague idea of the train station.
The grander of it all takes one's breath away. Utica is also full of grand history.

I wish I could of been able to photographed some of the homes in dire need of salvation. These are brick homes, not the usual redwood ones you find in San Francisco. Old Photos of Utica also exist to see some idea of that place. Plus this more modern gallary which I love.
