Travel Blog: Chester the Town and the River

The town is charming and yes, its charm is working on me. I can not deny that I have become quite relaxed here. The lack of people and traffic is still something I find facinating in contrast to San Francisco. Like Michigan, most homes do not have fences on the outskirt. I keep thinking, how do they manage to not have all their back yard toys, gardening, chairs and what not stolen? (So works my paranoid large city minded brain...).

Today we went to a wild life refuged, and for the first time in my life, saw live Horseshoe Crabs. The female was trying to get up on the shore (grass area), but the old male who was mating her, just would not let go. She was done with him, but he was not done with her apparently... Horseshoes are not known exactly how long they live, but some say as much as 20 years! Anyhow, some photos below, more to come!
